Our Board of Directors

Dhananjay Mungale, 73, is a seasoned banker and finance professional with extensive global experience in investment banking, corporate banking, and private banking across Europe and India. Over a span of 25 years, he held leadership positions at Bank of America and DSP Merrill Lynch in both Europe and India.

Since 1999, he has served on the boards of several prominent Indian companies as an independent director. These have included Mahindra Finance, JP Morgan Asset Management, L&T Infra Finance, LIC Housing Finance, Mahindra CIE Automotive, TN Petro Products, DSP Blackrock, Kalpataru Ltd., NOCIL Ltd., and Chowgule Steamship, among others.

He also serves on advisory boards of select private equity firms and on the investment committees of family offices in India and London.

He regularly mentors young talent in the fintech start-up sector across India and internationally.

Alongside his business pursuits, he contributes to educational and not-for-profit institutions as a member of their governing councils. These have included Mahindra United World Colleges and the Oxford Centre for Hindu Studies.

He holds degrees in Commerce and Law from the University of Mumbai and is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Rajesh Lawande brings 22 years of valuable experience in the pharmaceutical sector. With an M.Sc. in Chemistry from IIT Bombay and a PGDM in Management from IIM Lucknow, he possesses a strong educational background that complements his practical expertise. Since 2002, he has been actively involved in NGL’s operations, playing a vital role in shaping the company’s growth trajectory.

His responsibilities span a wide range of areas, including developing NGL’s research and development activities, exploring new markets and clients, and overseeing sales and manufacturing. With his extensive knowledge and strategic approach, Lawande is instrumental in driving innovation, expanding market presence, and ensuring seamless coordination across the company’s functions.

Sarala Menon brings 37 years of invaluable experience in manufacturing and supply chain roles, with a specific focus on industrial operations and management. She holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Warangal, complemented by an MBA from NMIMS in Mumbai, providing a strong educational foundation.

Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a dedication to enhancing production processes to ensure exceptional customer service, product quality, and performance in environmental, occupational health, and safety standards. As Executive Vice President at Colgate-Palmolive India, she was responsible for the overall management of Colgate’s plants in Baddi, Goa, Sanand, and Sricity.

Her strategic leadership and deep industry expertise were instrumental in driving operational excellence and nurturing a culture of continuous improvement. Sarala’s extensive experience in the manufacturing sector contributes significantly to the company’s mission to deliver high-quality products and services to its global customer base.

With 36 years of expertise in the pharmaceutical sector, Rahul Nachane brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table. As a Chartered Accountant and Master of Management Studies, he has a strong foundation in finance and business management. Since 1992, he has served as a full-time Director of the company and has been actively involved in operations since 1989. In his role, he has held responsibility for NGL’s marketing, production and general management, ensuring that the company meets the needs and expectations of all stakeholders while delivering on strategic objectives.

Mr. Sudhir Deo holds an M.Tech in Chemical Engineering from IIT Kanpur and brings decades of experience across polymers, petrochemicals, and specialty chemicals. During his tenure at the Arvind Mafatlal Group, he led multiple business functions including manufacturing, technology, research, strategy, marketing, and supply chain.

He previously served as the Managing Director of NOCIL Limited, where he drove technology commercialization and led the development of a greenfield rubber chemicals manufacturing facility in Dahej, Gujarat. Mr. Deo is also actively involved with the Indian Chemical Council as Chairman of the Technology and Energy Committee and currently serves as a Director at Navin Fluorine International Ltd.

Ajita Nachane brings a remarkable 31-year career in sales and marketing, offering a wealth of experience to the organisation. She holds a graduate degree in Commerce and a master’s degree in Management Studies, providing a strong educational foundation for her practical expertise.

She is the founder and CEO of Tele Access E-Services Private Limited, a leading business process outsourcing company serving the banking, financial services, and FMCG sectors. Her entrepreneurial drive and deep industry insight have played a key role in the success of her ventures.

As part of the company’s leadership team, Ajita contributes her extensive knowledge in sales and marketing to fuel growth, enhance customer engagement, and strengthen market reach. Her strategic vision and leadership make her a valuable asset in shaping the future direction of the organisation.
